- Visit the Grand Village of the Natchez Indians for a tour of the museum, a walk on the nature trails, bird watch, geocache, or just bring a picnic and enjoy the scenery.
- Watch the sunset from the bandstand at the Bluff Park overlooking the Mighty Mississippi River.
- Picnic at Memorial Park, Duncan Park or the Bluff while enjoying the atmosphere.
- Take a drive on the Natchez Trace Parkway or stop along the way and take a creek walk.
- Walk the grounds of Melrose, part of the Natchez National Historical Park.
- Browse the antique stores on “Antique Row” located downtown on Franklin Street, but don’t forget about the other antique stores around the downtown.
- Visit the Saint Catherine Creek National Wildlife Refuge for a nature walk and bird watching.
- While walking through the downtown, check out some of the art galleries scattered throughout.
- Visit the William Johnson House and learn about the life of a freed man known as, “The Barber of Natchez”.
- Grab a map of the Natchez City Cemetery at the Visitor Center and take a tour of one of the most historic cemeteries in the US.
- Take a fun picture in Fat Mama’s Tamales bath tub or on the pig in front of Pig Out Inn.
- Enjoy a stroll through the downtown as you walk along one of the Natchez Trails. Be sure to start your trek at the Trails Pavilion towards the beginning of Broadway Street.
- Take a tour and taste the wine made right here in Natchez at Old South Winery.
