Natchez Open Golf Championship

This year’s annual Natchez Open will be held once again at Natchez Golf Club at Duncan Park in Historic Natchez, Miss.

Participants of the event can be professional or amateurs, but must be 18 or older and have a USGA Handicap Index of 10 or less.

This year’s event is once again, 54 holes and has a purse of $30,000.

Natchez Golf Club, located just east of Historic Downtown Natchez is rich with history as it has been open since 1916. This golf treasure features rolling terrain along over $6,500 yards with flowering Dogwoods, Long Leaf Pines and towering Oaks draped in Spanish Moss. The front nine was designed by Seymour Dunn and the back nine by Bryan Ault in 1993. Among its famous visitors in the 1920s and 1930s were Walter Hagen, Sam Snead, and Babe Zaharias.
