Speakers: Adam Erby, Executive Director of Historic Preservation and Collections at George Washington’s Mount Vernon.
Lydia Mattice Brandt, professor of art and architectural history at the University of South Carolina.
Chapman is best known for work, Baptism of Pocahontas, which hangs in the Rotunda of the U.S. Capitol. Some of Chapman’s work is on display at St. Mary Basilica in Natchez.
