Legacy of the Rhythm Night Club

For the entire month of February 2023, tours will be given at the Rhythm Night Club Memorial Museum that highlight the lives and legacy of African Americans. Stories will focus on those who died in the fire of 1940, as well as those who survived or were affected by the tragedy.
The Museum is a popular attraction that tells the tragic story of the Rhythm Night Club fire that killed more than 200 people, including Walter Barnes and his band members, on April 23, 1940. During Black History Month, the cost of admission will be half price.
