By lantern light, guests are guided through the mansion’s richly furnished basement and into tales of sorrow, loss, and lingering spirits. Hear the tragic story of Haller Nutt, the heartbroken owner whose dream was shattered by the Civil War—and whose presence is still felt on the upper floors he never saw completed. Listen closely for the faint laughter of the Nutt children, rumored to play with their toys long after dark. And pause at the grand staircase, where sightings of Julia Nutt have sent chills down many a spine.
