The film “Women of the Struggle: Facing Fear in the Civil Rights Era” will be shown at the
Natchez Museum of African American History and Culture at 301 Main Street, Natchez, MS.

Women of the Struggle” chronicles the lives of women in Mississippi who, as young women and girls, lived in fear for themselves and/or their family members. Despite the fear, they stood up and faced the fear in various ways. Produced by award-winning documentarians G. Mark LaFrancis, Robert Morgan, and Darrell White, the film was made in partnership with the Mississippi Humanities Council and the Mississippi Film and Video Alliance.
