Coming for a visit from Little Rock, El Dorado or Monroe?
The Great River Road National Scenic Byway follows the course of the Mississippi River. The scenic route passes through 10 states and hundreds of river towns. It’s America’s oldest and longest National Scenic Byway, so it makes sense that it’s also home to a lot of history and unique attractions.
This Scenic Byway is a well-marked series of different roads and highways that roughly follow the winding course of the Mississippi River.
Throw the sunroof back, roll down the windows, and slow-cruise the historic corridor of the Natchez Trace. Stretching 444 miles from Natchez, Mississippi to Nashville, Tennessee, the trace encompasses 10,000 years of trade and travel history. Today it serves as a scenic highway hosting hikers, bikers, campers & motorists who know how to squeeze all the goodness out of life.

Christmas Pilgrimage (November 15 – December 31)
Christmas Pilgrimage – Christmas season is the most magical time to visit Natchez. The Christmas trees basked in ribbons and sparkles create a stunning backdrop for our historic Natchez architecture and mansion tours. This city is home to more historic homes than any other city in the country. These incredible examples of architecture, decorated in the most elaborate and stunning ways, play a huge role in both the city’s character and charm. Explore some of the most well-known estates and learn about their history while admiring their Christmas spirit. More information here.
Wardo’s Rouxdolph Roll (December 7)
The 2nd Annual Wardo’s Rouxdolph Roll is a 10K, 5K, and One Mil Kids Run event benefiting the Ward Graning Memorial Scholarship Fund. Races begin on Saturday, December 9th at 8 AM, beginning at Wardo’s on Broadway Street. Entry fees include $35 for the 10K race, $30 for the 5K race, and $10 for the One Mile Kids Run!
