📣 Now announcing the 2026 Natchez Literary and Cinema Celebration! February 27 – February 28, 2026 at The Natchez Convention Center!

We are proud to unveil the theme of this year’s literary festival: Stories of American Freedom.

This powerful and timely theme invites readers to explore the diverse and ever-evolving definitions of freedom in American life—past and present. The 2026 NLCC will weave a diverse tapestry of the stories that make us who we are as Americans today. These are stories of hope and resilience, stories of perseverance and bravery, stories of ordinary people who took a stand and fought hard for the freedoms that we enjoy today.

Join us as we spotlight authors from across the South and beyond who capture the complexity of American freedom—its struggles, triumphs, contradictions, and hopes for the future.

Through the lectures of expert historians and prolific authors, we’ll honor the patchwork of stories that make up our nation’s pursuit of freedom for all.

Stay tuned for the full lineup of featured authors, events, and special guests.
